ROTI JOHN
Ingredients :
A few hot dog rolls
Chillie sauce
Mayonaise
To be mixed :
1 small tin of sardines ~ mashed
1 onion ~ diced finely
3 fresh red pepper ~ chopped finely
2 eggs ~ slightly beaten
salt to taste
Method :
1. Cut the bread into half, sideways like how you do with burger rolls.
2. Heat a flat pan (preferably a non-stick pan) and place a scoop of the mixed ingredients on it.
3. Sightly press half the rolls on top of the filling.
4. Leave it till it's a bit crispy and remove from heat.
5. Repeat this process to all the remaining filling and the rolls.
6. Garnish with sliced cucumber or shredded lettuce, chillie sauce and mayonaise.
7. Serve warm.
Note :
1. Since I don't have any hotdog rolls in the house, I just used the burger rolls.
2. I put shredded cabbage instead of cucumber or lettuce
